Northern Forge Labs provides free-core web tools, optional pro unlocks, agent skills, and a flagship MCP server. We collect information you provide, payment data via processors (e.g. Stripe), and basic technical logs. We do not sell personal information.

Local-first free cores

Most free tools run in your browser. Core calculations (for example golden hour math, pack weight, regex highlighting) do not require an account and do not send your inputs to our servers unless a feature explicitly says otherwise.

Optional AI magic (✨)

Short version: ✨ is optional. It sends the text you submit to our generate API and a language model. Free cores and Example samples stay local, with no account required. Don’t paste secrets, API keys, or personal info you wouldn’t share. Review output — models can be wrong.

What is sent: the magic task name, optional product_id, and the field/notes you choose to generate from.
Where it goes: https://nf-conversion.vercel.app/api/ai/generate, then a configured model provider (server-side keys only — never embedded in the page).
What is not sent by default: unrelated form fields, localStorage unlocks, or payment card data.
Abuse controls: first-party browser origins required, rate limits, daily caps, secret-like input rejection, optional global kill switch.
Retention: magic text is processed to produce your reply; we don’t keep it in a database or use it to build profiles. The model provider processes it under their own terms.

If AI magic is disabled or rate-limited, free cores continue to work offline.

Payments & unlocks

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We store unlock verification data needed to grant pro features on a product (for example session identifiers), not full card numbers.

Analytics

We may record product opens, tool events, and similar product analytics to improve the catalog (for example popular tools). Prefer minimal identifiers; see in-app trackers when sign-in is used.
